Fighting Acne is Easy With These Hints

Most of us have had at least one person telling us to wash our faces since we were born. If you are like most of your friends, you don’t really care about washing your face every day–in fact, doing so feels like a chore! Taking the time to wash your face before going to bed is a chore–even if the memories of fighting acne all through puberty are still fresh. Unfortunately, washing your face is the only way to keep dirt and other things from getting into your skin and clogging your pores. Are you prepared to be the only adult you know who still fights acne every day? Here is what you need to do to keep your pores free and clear.

Be gentle when you wash your face! Don’t scrub! Scrubbing can leave your face open for pore clogging agents. Sure it will feel super clean for a while but you could accidentally do some serious harm to the very sensitive (and easily injured) skin on your face! You could even scar your face if you scrub it too hard! You need to have a firm but gentle touch when you wash your face. Don’t fret–you can do it! After you wash your face take a look at it–if it is bright red then you used too much pressure. You want it to be flushed but not bright red! A healthy sheen is a good goal, but don’t’ make yourself look like a shiny beet. Get a dermatologist to help you. Some people simply have acne that cannot be cured with over the counter treatments. If you have tried everything that you can think of and nothing is working and you are still suffering from painful and extensive acne, it might be time to enlist the help of a doctor. You might need a prescription strength acne fighter and a dermatologist can give that to you. You might be one of those people whose acne is caused by other medical conditions and a dermatologist will be able to properly diagnose this. Acne is not always caused by clogged pores–sometimes breakouts are the result of your genes or other health problems you might be facing. A doctor can help you diagnose your skin problems and help you to clear up the acne you are fighting.

Have you thought about using natural products to help you fight your acne? Have you ever tried using toothpaste on a zit before? An overnight spot treatment of toothpaste on a zit might cure it. When you wake up, you will see that the pimple or zit has gotten a lot smaller (do not try this if you have pets who roam free at night because tasting the toothpaste could make them very sick). Lots of people use egg whites to clean their faces and reduce their breakouts. You can either do spot treatment by putting some egg whites directly onto your pimples or you can use the egg whites to make a facial mask. The best way to treat an acne breakout is also the most basic way to treat an acne breakout: wash your face and don’t pick at your zits. There will be times when you want something a little stronger to combat a breakout. No matter how old you might be, there are plenty of options available to help you keep your breakouts from coming back-isn’t that great?

Based on medical research in England, the mixture of red and blue light therapy is the ideal treatment for inflammatory acne. Learn more about this from Baby Quasar reviews on http://www.healthbeautytrends.com.
