Snowboarding Setup
summer snowboarding setup help?
i have a hill in my yard for summer snowboarding, but i need a surface that will slide easily, with or without water and it NEEDS to be cheap. i know astro turf works well but a 5×3 mat was like 175, which is waaaaaaaaaay too expensive, and i would end up needing three or four of those. i also know nylon carpet works well but is it cheap and where can i get it?! and is there anything else that is cheaper?
I don’t know what type of astro turf you found, but at my Home Depot you could get a huge roll for like $50. Then best option would be to head over to your local ice rink and ask for the Zamboni shavings. This is just snow that they leave out to melt, so they’ll give it to you.
